Lapkričio 17 dieną, trečiadienį, 18 val. Taikos pr. 123 Tarptautinės studentų dienos minėjimo proga Vytauto Didžiojo universiteto (VDU) „Taikos“ bendrabučio gyventojai bandys siekti Lietuvos rekordo „Ilgiausias Lietuvos studentų sumuštinio junginys“.

„Skatindami bendruomeniškumą, mes rengiame akciją, kurios metu vieningai tepsime ilgiausią sumuštinį, bandydami paneigti plačiai žinomą frazę, kad nėra to blogo, ko nesuvalgytų studentas. Atkreipdami dėmesį į tai, kad sumuštinio mityba yra neatsiejama kiekvieno studento gyvenimo dalis“, – kalbėjo viena iš renginio organizatorių, „Taikos“ bendrabučio pirmininkė Roberta Martinkutė.

Šia akcija organizatoriai nori ne tik pademonstruoti savo studentiškus kulinarinius sugebėjimus, bet ir parodyti, jog ir studentai gali siekti rekordo.

Renginys, kurio metu studentai sieks rekordo,bus sudarytas iš dviejų dalių. Pirmojoje jų bus siekiama užfiksuoti rekordą, o antrojoje sumuštiniu bus vaišinami svečiai, studentai, vyks „didžiausio skrandžio varžybos“. Varžybų metu studentai turės galimybę pasivaržyti dėl daugiausiai, o vėliau ir greičiausiai suvalgančiojo vardo. 

Kelerius metus VDU „Taikos“ bendrabučio studentai sėkmingai mini Tarptautinę studentų dieną. Plačiai žinoma jau tradicija tapusi langų įžiebimo akcija, kurios metu bendrabučio languose įsižiebdavo studentišką gyvenimą atspindintys žodžiai, šiais metais dėl renovuojamų patalpų bus pakeista į rekordo siekimą.

VDU „Taikos“ bendrabutis išsiskiria savo bendruomeniškumu, vieningumu, organizuotumu, aktyvumu įvairiose akcijose, bei žinoma, linksmu studentiško gyvenimo būdu.
