Penktadienį, spalio 8 d., 11.15 val. Kauno oro uoste įvyks Kauno regiono plėtros tarybos inicijuotas atviras susitikimas su projekto „Rail Baltica“ koordinatoriumi Pavelu Telička. Konferencijos metu bus diskutuojama apie potencialias Viešojo logistikos centro (VLC) įkūrimo vietas Kauno regione.  

Susitikime taip pat dalyvaus Kauno miesto meras Andrius Kupčinskas, Kauno rajono savivaldybės meras Valerijus Makūnas ir Ministro Pirmininko Andriaus Kubiliaus patarėja Ona Balžekienė.

Diskusija apie strategiškai VLC patogiausias vietas vyks Kauno oro uosto administracijos pastate, Skrydžių valdymo centro patalpose IV-ame aukšte (Karmėlava, 54460, Kauno rajonas). 

Prieš susitikimą „Rail Baltica“ projekto koordinatorius P. Telička lankysis galimose VLC įkūrimo vietose Karmėlavoje bei Palemone.
