Didžiausia Lietuvoje integruotų telekomunikacijų, IT ir televizijos paslaugų teikėja TEO LT, AB sausį Plungėje ir Kėdainiuose įrengė du naujus skaitmeninės antžeminės televizijos siųstuvus. Plečiamas siųstuvų tinklas leis pagerinti televizijos „Skaitmeninė GALA“ paslaugų kokybę šiuose miestuose ir aplink juos.

Nuo šiol Lietuvoje veiks iš viso 30 siųstuvų, sudarančių galimybę beveik visoje šalyje matyti iki 40 kanalų lietuvių, anglų, rusų ir kitomis kalbomis.

Vilniuje, Kaune ir maždaug 50 kilometrų spindulių aplink juos TEO retransliuoja ir tris raiškiosios televizijos kanalus. „Eurosport HD“, „Discovery HD Showcase“ ir „National Geographic Channel HD“ įgarsinami anglų ir rusų kalbomis – norimą kalbą gali pasirinkti pats žiūrovas.

Skaitmeninės antžeminės televizijos (DVB-T) tinklais transliuojamos paslaugos „Skaitmeninė GALA“ klientų rugsėjo pabaigoje buvo daugiau nei 58 tūkstančiai. Privatiems ir verslo klientams TEO teikia ir skaitmeninės televizijos „Interaktyvioji GALA“ paslaugas, kuriomis rugsėjo gale naudojosi daugiau nei 63 tūkst. klientų.

Daugiau informacijos apie skaitmeninę televiziją GALA galima gauti tinklalapyje www.gala.lt arba mokamu TEO klientų aptarnavimo telefonu 1817.
