Telekomunikacijų bendrovė „Omnitel“, siekdama apsaugoti savo vartotojų interesus, lapkričio 9 dieną nutraukė paslaugų teikimą UAB „Facility services“ (Nacionaliniam nuomonių centrui), siuntinėjančiai žmonėms raštus dėl namo renovacijos darbų su raginimu pareikšti nuomonę, siunčiant 7,11 Lt kainuojančią SMS žinutę.

„Mūsų nuomone, UAB „Facility services“ siunčiami raštai su raginimu išsakyti savo nuomonę turi klaidinančios reklamos požymių, dėl to gali nukentėti „Omnitel“ vartotojai, išsiuntę užklausą ir brangiai sumokėję už SMS žinutę, - sakė „Omnitel“ viceprezidentas rinkodarai ir paslaugoms Darius Maikštėnas. – Būdami atsakingi ir siekdami apsaugoti savo vartotojų interesus, paslaugų teikimą minėtai bendrovei nutraukėme iš karto“. 

UAB „Facility services“ siunčiamuose imperatyvaus pobūdžio raštuose su du kartus pakartotu raginimu pareikšti savo nuomonę, sudaromas įspūdis, kad nuo balsavimo betarpiškai gali priklausyti konkretaus namo renovavimas, pateikiamas neegzistuojantis šeimos ūkio kodas ir t.t.
