Tarptautinė skubių siuntų bendrovė TNT ėmėsi papildomų saugumo priemonių norėdama apsaugoti klientus ir jų siuntas, o taip pat savo darbuotojus bei tinklą nuo galimų teroristinių išpuolių.

Bendrovė sugriežtino oro ir žemės transporto kontrolę, įvedė būtiną visų siuntų patikrą TNT atstovybėse (tarp jų ir „TNT Lietuva“ padalinyje), o taip pat subrangovų įmonėse bei partnerių oro linijų bendrovėse.

„TNT Lietuva“ sugriežtino visų eksportuojamų siuntų patikros politiką bei klientų, su kuriais neturėta bendardarbiavimo patirties, kontrolės mechanizmus. „Kruopščiai tikrinami siuntimo dokumentai, laikinai apribota galimybė priimti siuntas iš privačių asmenų bei sustabdyta atsiskaitymo grynais pinigais galimybė. Itin krupščiai tikrinimos JAV adresatams skirtos siuntos, dėl ko gali šiek tiek vėluoti jų pristatymas. Šių priemonių privalėjome imtis dėl išaugusių aviacijos saugumo reikalavimų bei susidariusios padėties pasaulyje“, – teigia „TNT Lietuva“ generalinis direktorius Aivaras Sebeckis.

Prieš porą savaičių aptikus siuntas su sprogstamaisias užtaisais didžiųjų skubių siuntų bendrovių lėktuvuose, pasaulio saugumo pareigūnų ir vyriausybių vadovų dėmesys nuo keleivinio transporto nukrypo į krovininį. „Nors dar nėra žinoma, kokie nauji saugumo reikalavimai bus priimti ir įsigalios, tačiau visiškai aišku, jog skubių siuntų verslo sektoriui tai turės didelės įtakos“, – teigia „TNT Lietuva“ vadovas.

TNT jau dirba pagal pasaulinius saugumo standartus, kurie atitinka, o kai kuriais avejais viršija vietinius reikalavimus. Šiuo metu peržiūrimi galiojantys saugumo standartai ir stiprinama kontrolė visuose TNT padaliniuose. Be to, TNT atlieka papildomus rizikų įvertinimo auditus norėdama identifikuoti sritis, kurios reikalauja papildomų saugumo priemonių įdiegimo. Pirmiausia ruošiamasi įvertinti oro uostus, kuriuose leidžiasi (arba planuoja tą daryti artimiausiu metu) lėktuvai su TNT siuntomis.

„TNT nuolat bendradarbiauja su vietinėmis ir tarptautinėmis saugumo tarnybomis ir yra suinteresuota stiprinti transporto saugumo reikalavimus visame pasaulyje“, – sako A. Sebeckis. „Bendromis saugumo tarnybų, verslo atstovų ir kitų skubių siuntų bendrovių pastangomis sieksime, kad būtų imtasi visų priemonių saugiai krovinių judėjimo erdvei užtikrinti.“

TNT vadovaujasi tarptautinių aviacijos organiazacijų (tarp jų Tarptautinės civilinės aviacijos organizacijos (angl. ICAO), Europos civilinės aviacijos konferencijos (angl. ECAC), Tarptautinės oro transporto asociacijos (angl. IATA)) reglamentuotais saugumo standartais bei rekomendacijomis, o taip pat Technologijų nuosavybės apsaugos asociacijos (angl.TAPA) nustatytais reikalavimais transporto saugumui.
